Would a serial cohabitator be a deal-breaker to you?

I once ditched a man that had a history of being with 8 live-in gfs. I can understand maybe 2 but 8? A serial cohabitator is someone that lives with a partner, breaks up, lives with another partner and continues doing that nonstoppable.

This sounds like someone that's not serious, keeps making the same mistake and hasn't learn about how a lasting relationship is like? Serial cohabitating sounds like casual relationships to me with the only difference of the being ''boyfriend and girlfriend'' by name but not really.

Exactly. I don't know the point of living together to just break up, then do the same process over and over again, just to break up. Serial cohabitators make relationships sound like a joke nowadays.

It's interesting. I have dated over 1000 women (most never made it beyond the first date) in my life... Been sexual with 8, and only lived with two, my most recent ex, and my wife.. I cannot imagine moving around so much, let alone living with that many women in such a Short period of time. I'd do the same if I were in your shoes. There could be other issues you might face if the relationship became long term.. Red flag..

Yeah, that’s lame. Not only what you mentioned about having too many relationships, but it also gives the impression that he can’t be independent or take care of himself since he always has to have someone else in the household with him.

It does sound like the person potentially has issues with being alone, or perhaps some other issues, but I would not say it is a deal-breaker. People have issues, no one is perfect. I do think it would be an interesting conversation to have with a partner in transparency with an opportunity for growth if it was a recognized pattern.

According to me, things like that are obvious at first glance.

But, whilst I got pushed into housesharing as a way of living, I never remotely found it acceptable, and can't wait to again live by myself in my own (rented since to buy is too stupid with current levels of crime) place.
