Is this normal behavior for an immature guy?

So I went on a few dates earlier this year with this guy. He’s a mutual friend to one of my good friends. Things didn’t work out because he kept being inconsistent and didn’t really know what he wanted, so I just told him we should end things and remain friends. Mind you, this has been about 6 months, and every time we see each other, he acts weird. He’ll be super chatty and cool with everyone, but with me will be dismissive and act like as if I did something to him. All my friends think he still has feelings for me but because he’s immature he doesn’t know how to be civil and normal. But is that a thing? If a guy is immature, but still has feelings, will he react this way? I’m nothing but nice and cool with him, and honestly I’m tired of feeling like I did something wrong.
