**we haven’t talked in 7 years**
I received messages from two friends saying that Dylan (ex) messaged them about me…badmouthing me. A few days later I received messages on IG under Dylan’s account which included paragraphs about never liking me, etc and personal info I didn’t know he knew? (Where I live now, what I’m mastering in, etc) It also included screenshots of him messaging his friends that I knew at the time we dated and him talking shit?
I’m pretty sure it’s not him but his current girlfriend messaging in his account…but we broke up 8 YEARS AGO! I didn’t respond to the messages but WHAT the HELL…why NOW?
Wondering if anyone knows why something like this could have happened? Is it drugs? Makes me sick to my stomach? I moved out of the country 3 years ago too..

Your an ex-girlfriend and he still has your friend? So, sounds like to me this woman is suspicious of you or him. Like she thinks he is cheating, and she is trolling his social media, fishing for something.
So, I made this mistake once. You know how they say never speak badly about your past girlfriends or relationships to prospective girlfriends. So, I was just getting to know this woman, and I told her about this girl Carrie I dated once, and how she was really a great person, but it just didn't work out due to life reasons. Like it was really fun and she was really sweet, but there was life issues that kind of torn us in different directions.
So, she gets on Face book and finds my cousin Carrie... but I did not have here listed as family. Yeah, she messages my cousin Carrie asking her about me and the last time we saw each other. She was like we last saw each other at Christmas. So, two months ago.
Yeah, the woman tells my cousin that I am hers now and that she needs to respect that I have moved on from her. That she needs to stay away.
Yeah, it didn't work out. We hooked up for a few weeks, but she was bat shit crazy.
