My boyfriend of 5 years says to me that i should be lucky to be with him because he cut off his kid and baby mom for me. He also said that means he loves me more than them to cut them off for me. But at the same time, he cheated on me with her. Sadly, this is the same female who rejected him 17 years ago in High school. They are both 30 years old now. I don't understand why he would go with her anyway after she rejected him for that many years. Plus she slept with his cousin 2 years ago. (They were all talking about it around the neighborhood). Do you all think he loves me more than her? Because i don't know about that since he doesn't help me with anything. Yeah he calls me but he still don't help me with anything. I have to either do it myself or I usually have to ask other people to help me when im low on rent, Food or when i need cash to get to work. Smh.

Anyone who chooses to cut off his kid is not someone to be relied on. If that's the proof you need to feel loved, then you don't know what love is. What happens when he cuts you and your child off, after he gets bored? It sounds like you feel insecure and are looking for a provider, while he's just looking for a playmate. I see dysfunction from all directions. Learn to stand on your own two feet before looking for a partner. It's healthier to want a partner than to need a partner. Never seek more than you bring to the relationship. If you need to ask whether someone loves you, then this isn't a healthy relationship. In a healthy relationship, love is obvious. Never settle and then expect the other person to change.
