My situationship is hiding something from me... that's what my gut feeling is telling me. I don't know what it is, but I tried telling him to spill the beans, but he somehow told me "should I give you explanation for anything and everything I do?"... like I'm not entitled to know if there is something or maybe I'm overthinking.

If he is Not hiding something he can tell. The fact that he doesn't does not mean he is actually hiding something but heis also not being open and honest..

I want some space so I would find your approach intrusive. I enjoy my own thoughts about stuff and don't want to share them.
I saw a funny clip. The girls is saying he must know I am angry because we haven't spoken for half an hour. Cuts to the guy saying I could take out a black bear - just get him in a head lock easy. Maybe he doesn't feel he needs to give you his thoughts on black bears.
He is your situationship? So this means you aren't in a relationship or married, so nothing he does that doesn't involve the 2 of you is any of your business. So he doesn't have to tell you anything.
If it's a situationship you shouldn't even bother. You're not in a serious relationship you don't owe anything to each other.

You are acting like a psycho. He ain't your boyfriend, you don't seem to get that. You aren't in a committed relationship.
Don't suffocate the man. That's not a good way to go about it. If you have a feeling something is wrong then first try to find evidence. Till then calm down.
