I usually wear my hair natural , in twists or cornrow but every few months or so I get braids, when I do instead of complimenting me my boyfriend says it a waste of money, no compliments whatsoever as I walk in first thing out of his mouth, so I've just started doing it for myself. Now he's realised he hurts my feeling saying that he still says it's a waste of money but it looks nice which doesn't make it any better at all. I understand he wants me to say and all that but I don't go to the hair dresser except for braids once every few month the last time I got braids was June, I usually do my own hair in twists and cornrows but it's nice getting ur hair professionally done once in a while, it wouldn't kill him to say I just look nice and leave it at that.
