How do you know that your relationship is not mostly based on sex?

Especially in a long distance relationship?

I feel like me and my boyfriend have a healthy relationship but I won't lie to say that we do bring up sex a lot and when we're around each other it immediately goes to sex. I just want to know that our relationship is not solely based on that. We talk about other things when we're not in person but when we're in person it almost immediately goes to sex.

But it's the honeymoon stage in our relationship so maybe it's normal to always go to sex in person.

Yes well the sex is important but not as important as the actual relationship so we manage well with being long distance. I just want to make sure that sex isn't at the forefront of the relationship when we close the distance and live together. I would still want sex but I would hope that's not what all our relationship is about.

based on past experiences of myself... when you feel that you do have a great, and healthy relationship, a lot of sex can definitely happen, yes...

and this doesn't have to be a bad thing... the day does have 24 hours, and every week has 7 days... lol
