Signs someone is wary of you?

I have a female coworker who I suspect of cheating on her husband with another male coworker (who happened to be my supervisor) since they always sneak off together to "chill" in the lobby while setting their teams status on "presenting" and just seem way to close to each other. She usually just ignores me but today for some reason she kept glancing at me and turned around to watch me when I was behind her walking towards the exit as if she was afraid of being caught doing something fishy. Lately I've been bumping into them more frequently and the last time I did I overheard him saying my name to her.

Does it look like she is afraid of being caught cheating? Considering how obvious both of them have been acting together for years in front of everyone I find the idea pretty silly since by now the whole department probably knows and I'm just a temp. Or why else would she keep an eye on me all of a sudden?

Because I may want to avoid them thinking they can come along, or having to talk to them in the hallway, or because I'm a private person and there's no need to run everything by committee. The less they're in my personal space the better.

why would you have to hide your status on teams to not bump into them if the likelihood of them bumping into you is super small since no one knows were you two are hanging out? why take such measures if you are not guilty?

My teams always says i'm in a meeting. I'm not a child that needs monitoring it's nobody's business what i'm doing at any given moment.

Maybe we have different versions. I start work, i change it to the little red "Busy" status and it stays there the rest of the day. I don't have peers I work with collaboratively, so no, it's none of their business what I'm doing. If you're important enough to know what I'm doing it's because I'm in a meeting with you.

Nobody I work with cares who is sleeping with who with the exception of the guy that sits in the corner and I'm not actually sure what he does. He's the reason I don't have a phone line anymore. If you're obviously paying attention and they've caught on that you're paying attention, that's going to bother them and throw a wrench in their gears, so they're going to do what they do to (poorly, clearly) try to hide it from you
