I told my girlfriend this. Men and women are both equally fragile just in different ways, you are very fragile physically, which is why I will never hurt you physically, but men are fragile about anything relating to our masculinity. It doesn’t matter how confident and “secure” we are, that is where we are weakest. If you punch me in private I’m not going to care, you can’t hurt me, but if you stick your knife where I am weakest just know that this relationship will not work.

Since then we have never had an argument or fight where we have stayed mad at each other for longer than a couple minutes. And we rarely ever fight.
