Guys who love , read and collect books.

I love collecting and reading books. I have been doing so from the age of 5/6. Always saved pocket money for buying books. Have almost 6000 books so far of all types Literature, rare out-of-print books, old vintage books, from UK, Russia, Nordic countries, South America, India, China, Japan. I know several languages for reading them.

Many of them are my subject and research-oriented books too (Physics and Mathematics).

I am generally good at telling stories and folk tales, and history from all over the world.

A lot of people love to hear stories from me but I never had a girlfriend so far. I have always wondered that maybe my personality is considered boring when it comes to dating/relationships.

Yes it's great to have a conversation with somebody that is knowledgeable about the world. It's one of my favourite things about hanging out with my uncles is that they are always reading about history and foreign politics so I learn a lot of interesting facts that I do not have the time to study myself.

Okay. It's a tale of a time when romantic language was poetry (late eighteenth century). Serenade was the wooing factor in relationships.
It’s a love story of Walter Dickens (son of Charles Dickens) and Rose Aylmer. After finishing his education Dickens met Rose in Pembrokeshire, Wales on a vacation. Soon they fall in love, hopping around the seashore and hills in Wales. Walter wrote, “I was not indifferent to Rose, nor Rose quite to me” and “with a low tune I bent to hear ;/How close I bent I quite forget, /I only know I hear it yet!”.

Rose had a habit of discussing books with Dickens. Many of the discussions resulted in literature that influenced Shelly.
All was going well but perhaps God had another plan. Roses’s father suddenly died and mom remarried. She wasn’t fond of her stepfather, so her mom sent her to her aunt in Kolkata, India (The capital of then-British India).
Walter wrote "When the buds began to burst /Long ago with Rose the first, /I was walking joyous then, / Far above all other men, /Till before us up there stood /Briton Ferry's Oken wood./Where is she now? Called far away, /By one she dared not disobey, /To those proud halls, for youth unfit, /Where princes stand and judges sit,/Where Ganges rolls his widest wave.”

Walter was desperate to get a job in the British Indian army but alas! Before he could set sail for India, Rose died of cholera. Following her death Walter penned a poem in her honor: Ah, what avails the sceptred race,/Ah, what the form divine!/What, every virtue, every grace!/Rose Aylmer, all were thine./Rose Aylmer, whom these wakeful eyes/ May weep but never see/A night of memories and sighs/I consecrate to thee. Later when he reached Kolkata he used to visit and sit beside her grave regularly and added a few more lines to her tombstone “‘What was her fate? Long, long before her hour, /Death called her tender soul, by break of bliss,/From the first blossoms, to the buds of joy;/Those few our noxious fate unblasted leaves/ In this inclement clime of human life”.

With a severely broken heart, he was alive for a few years in India, then finally took his rightful place near her beloved. Poet Swinburne once visited them, and he added a few lines into their love story, “ so shall thy lovers, come from far/ Mix with thy name, /As morning-star with evening-star ”.
You will not find this story online that easily.
