Should I give up my male friends for my boyfriend?

My boyfriend hates the fact that I have two male friends. He thinks that it is damaging to a relationship. My male friends are people whom which I have known for 10 years and never had a relationship with him or had sex with them. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for a little over a year. I have introduced him to them but yet he still has an issue with it. I haven't seen my friends in a long time because I don't want to fight over it. I would invite him to go but I also know how he feels bout them and also I don't need a chaperon with me either. My boyfriend wants to get married and I don't simply because I feel he doesn't trust me and feels he wants some since of control over me. Should I give up my male friends? Is it wrong to have male friends being in a relationship?

Hell No! I'll never give up my close friends just to be in a relationship, and it's even worse when your boyfriend/girlfriend gives you an ultimatum. Also seriously, getting married after just a years worth of a relationship...yea I would REALLY think about that one, cause that's a bigger problem.

You should be able to have male friends, plus you don't just throw away a 10 year old friendship.
