Why do black people have much stronger family units and work ethics in Africa than America? Why are black people more racist in America than Africa?

Getting back to the second part of my question, I think its obvious why. Black people can’t get away with not working in Africa because it means death. The government there doesn’t provide anything for you. You provide for yourself.

Keep in mind most African people shared a similar experience to what black people had to endure in America.

They were being oppressed by white people until the mid 1960’s in the form of being European colonies. And often it was worse than just segregation. Forced labor!

Yet for some reason I still hear black people in Africa bitching far less about white people than the ones here in America.

Even though the ones in Africa have a far worse situation.

Especially with all the foreign aid they’ve been receiving which gives their countries no real chance at developing.

Because America is an Individualist culture which is all about the individual self, and Africa if I remember correctly is a collectivist culture. They are centered around family, unity, and duty or service to others. Governments, in general, are supposed to help their people. But world govs in general that isn't of God doesn't care and is focused on their own agendas. The difference is that Africans focus on culture and on a culture centered on tradition, building up based on the roles of either a man or a woman, or whatever else they want to have as a gender. Here in America again, people are told to do whatever they want, etc. And it caused a form of separatism that is centered on self instead of a village or community perspective. Sadly, depending on where you go, they have a downtrodden idea about the world so they may not be as vocal about 'white' people. Because depending on what they are dealing with they can get themselves or their family and loved ones killed. It's a slave system no matter where you go in this world.

Work ethics in general in America aren't the greatest, and in regards to racism I can't say I've met a racist black guy but there's a divide that's not as prominent in Africa because of population numbers.

Personally not convinced that's true. Remember the story of white farmers being kicked off their land in Africa in the basis of race hahahah. That's a culturally accepted step over there.

Name in recent history people have been removed from their land on the basis of race in America. In particular by black people since that's the focus.

Race issues exist all over the world. America doesn't rank high on the list. People just watch enough anger porn to convince themselves it is. Statistically speaking our hate crimes are not higher. Which is one of the few objective measures we have for this.

From where I'm standing. Holding the country that still has widespread slave trafficking, child soldiers, female mutilation among a laundry list of horrible acts. Then placing it above people in the US is just silly.

You're an 18 year old who has nothing but First World Problems and based on (maybe) some personal experiences that are a far cry from what happens in Africa. I’m aware of those issues in Africa but you’re drifting away from the original subject matter. I was saying that black people are more hostile towards whites in America. And I’ve watched enough travel videos of white people visiting Africa to know that firsthand. If I walk into a black neighborhood today I’d get nothing but a bunch of rude stares. Hell even my own white female cousin gets harrassed by black guys and told to leave their neighborhood everytime she walks by on her way to work everyday. Racism is an issue here. I’m sorry.

Most black people in Africa don’t have the experience of regularly interacting with white people so they don’t have the time to form prejudices against them. In some cases they’ll give prolonger stares to white tourists but its mainly out of curiosity.

That's all. In Africa they have deep racism even inter black. Here we have some black people labeling Dark skin vs Light skin and it's more of a joke really since we all still see ourselves as Black.

In Africa, being mixed is treated as a cultural crime in a lot of ways. South Africa being the obvious worst. But other parts of Africa aren't much better. If you want to pick from some small African tribes to make your point then okay I guess.

But Africa as a whole has it far worse with race relations as opposed to the US.

My opinion of white tourists feeling welcomed. They're rich white people spending rich people money in places whose prime directive is to get rich people money. So they lavish them. Rich people find that every country they go to.

Not sure if you're a fan of Joe Rogan. But I remember a time he said beautiful praises of Brazil and the people and how they treat him there. That's besides the fact that a lot of Brazil hates Americans and more specifically white Americans.

Joe Rogan is a victim of his fame. He doesn't know how those people treat the average white person. He only knows how they treat him the famous guy. Similarly I think that's a common experience for rich tourists traveling to tourists spots around the world

I think that the experiences white tourists have abroad that they report back is tinted by the fact they are going to tour spots spending a lot of money. All businesses cater to those who spend money.

Because black Americans are pampered by the system and catered to despite their laziness and flat out destructive habits. Africans are also more traditional and religious so of course they have better sense of morality and work ethic, they not only can't leech off of others but they genuinely do not want to, unlike the blacks here.

I have met some great black people here in America but I just think the mainstream media feeds the divide here and this is why a lot of black people blame white people for everything. The black people in Africa are a different kind of people they are not Americanized which makes someone entitled and full of ego.
