We need way less. It is ridiculous, we have become the society of privilege and catering to individuals. Have we learned how some past behavior is harmful? Yes but to get so specific over all mundane details is ridiculous.
i think that caring for peoples feelings should be OPTIONAL. so that you can distinguish yourself from the assholes by being nice. if nice is just obligatory and forced, then it's worth nothing.
Society is a collection of citizens. And the citizenry *should* live by certain codes of conduct, whether written, or spoken, or not. Though of course often they do not. They act only in their best interests.
So given this definition, how does "society" display their feelings - via social media? I believe there's a point where being conscious of others' feelings should be taken into account, but after that, not. I don't go out of my way to hurt others with my speech, but if I'm aware that a certain subject is sensitive to someone I know, I'll be careful about it.
I'm not referring to social media specifically. Actually I'm thinking about the broader picture, which is people lose their jobs, policies and laws get implemented. Can be very impactful.
Nope it's not the society... You can never change the world and make them more sensitive. This is going on since the start, people need to be more strong when it comes to feelings
I don't think we should go out of our way to be assholes to people. As long as we treat each other with dignity and worth, there shouldn't be any problems.

How about the three R’s?
Respect
Responsibility
Realism
Then sensitivity might come on its own’

More. There’s a difference between being sensitive and letting people be bad influences.
"Society" ? How can "society" be more, or less, sensitive to anything? Please define "society" in this example, sweet Amanda.

In many situations society needs to be more sensitive and in others less sensitive.

I think people need to understand a little thing called nuance.
LESS! And yes, boys will be boys. What else could they be?
I am not trying to be funny! I can't answer this question until the asker defines what they mean by society! Just way too open-ended.
In certain areas less in others more. It just depends.
The problem is that we are not sensitive to the right feelings and we are over sensitive to the wrong ones
Personally I think people in general need to toughen up.
I dunno, but I'm glad we live in a time where we can ask the question.
People's lives were too hard to even care about this in the past.
Needs balance in feelings and understanding. Whatever amount of feelings people need to get there is what we need
I'm tired of all these coddled snowflakes. The world has never been a fair place.
The world could use way more empathy than it has. so ill vote 'more' here
If you can't tell the truth because you might hurt someone's feelings, something has gone badly wrong.
In my opinion we are wayyy over sensitive to people's needs now. People need tough love sometimes
