I AM NOT asking you to list these folks names and numbers 🚫😂 I only know 3-4. And thats bad. I miss remembering numbers. #FeelFreeToList
+1 yI know let's see...
NN, ET, EB, LB... that's my sister and three close friends. There might be one or two more that I'm forgetting that I know (ironically).

I still also remember two numbers I was made to memorize when I was a kid: my grandma's number and my home phone number. I haven't had them in years and when I was around 18-19 I called my old home phone number just to say hi to whoever it was and tell them it was my number when I was a kid and that I'd never forget it. I have no idea what the person on the other end thought of that, I don't think they really knew what to say but they were nice enough.
What would you say if someone called you and said your number was their old phone number from when they were a kid 10+ years ago?
11 Reply- +1 y
Lmao you called it to say Hi 🤣 I’d find it funny and adorable. Better than a prank call

My brother in law actually still has a rotary phone that he would always let his kid's friends use like whenever they needed to call thier parents or something. Just to see if they could figure it out.😂
14 Reply- +1 y
I had to use the house phone throughout high school if my phone got taken away so i got used to it 🤣
- +1 y
Does the rotary even still work on modern phone systems or does he use a pulse to tone converter?
- +1 y
@horatiohornblower well it worked when he told me this which was a few years. back.

+1 yNada one. I use to remember people's phone numbers all the time, but nowadays people change them every time they get a new phone, which is often. I had one friend a while back that had a different number 14 times in one year, according to my phone, since I always forget to delete them.
I don't even bother anymore because of that! lol
13 Reply- +1 y
Usually you have to switch companies to switch numbers UNLESS they’re doing like me where i paid $7 to keep changing my number due to stalkers lol
- +1 y
yeah, I know when I had Verizon, they were supposed to charge me $10 I think, but most people I knew used that straight talk service or had government phones, and they kept losing them, lol
- +1 y
Lmao
I struggle to remember my own.
Stupid thing is I remember numbers from when I was a kid before mobile phones were a thing.
I even remember the number of the girl I'd have given my left nut to go out with but never got the courage to call when I was 17.
But my wife's number? "Speed-dial 1" 🤦11 Reply- +1 y
Lmao
+1 yDue to lack of regular use... i only know my parents, lover, house phone number, my # which doesn't count lol... I should learn my brothers number sad... thank God they haven't changed since I was a child. That's why... bro's own recently changed.

+1 yAll of the contacts in my phone are vendors and businesses and people I don’t really know. I probably remember at least partial numbers for most of them, but I don’t trust myself to remember them. All of my friends and family numbers never get typed into the contacts app; because I know their numbers.
10 ReplyI don't know any by heart that's why I have them saved ^^ I'd rather use the space in my brain for something else there's already enough stuff I remember that I don't really need :P
11 Reply- +1 y
If you ever are in an emergency and 911 is asking silly shit, you want to be able to call fam or someone
1.6K opinions shared on Technology & Internet topic. I only have three contacts on my phone, and I can't remember any of them.
If people need to contact me, they can do it in other ways.

+1 yI don't have any contacts in my phone. I either have the number memorized or written down somewhere. Actually I use the callback feature most of the time. Even if they haven't called recently I still use callback most of the time.
