Because no mather what kind of sex they want, they want someone they are attracted to to do it with. And funniness, a nice personality and the capability to keep a conversation flowing are more important factors in attraction than a good looking face.

In my opinion only caring about a pretty face is superficial.
Again, some girls are into being submissive in the bedroom. That doesn't change the fact that it's still just sex. The girl chooses a guy she likes, which usually is someone who makes her feel happy and loved and who can make her laugh. Then if everything works out they proceed to have intercourse in whatever way they both like.

It should be known that social skills, like looks, are also genetically. Meaning you're born with the ability to have good social skills in the future or not. Same with being funny, or having a fun personality. So by girls choosing guy who are funny, have good social skills, they are being superficial. I would say by choosing only on looks is less superficial, because looks can be changed to an extend.
