first of all, i'd like to point out your use of a blanket statement, you might not have done it on purpose but please understand not all guys are disrespectful
i assume you're in america (i'm in england) so i don't know the culture over there
but from what i do know, some guys (especially late teens, through to 30s, with most guys) we don't really understand how girls work, and we react with testosterone, and sometimes rage.
i, myself have always been quite placid and respectful to girls, unless i've been mistreated. sometimes the way i am can hurt a girl (i have a fat fetish and i'm open about it, this can sometimes end up hurting my girlfriend) but i'm never an outright dick on purpose
Poor or no home training. Lack of social skills. Lack of self respect, low self esteem. Maybe they actually hates girls, jealous of then in some way. I don't know. Than god we're not all like that.
I don't know what kind of men you are interacting with, but I suggest you start seeking better company. This is such a general statement. I have some wonderful, very respectful men in my life. I actually know very few men who just go around disrespecting and being rude to women. Perhaps you are doing something to encourage this behavior, because in general, I find men to be much more pleasant than most women I know.

Sounds like the guys you've encountered were not too nice. Which in no way means ALL guys are rude. Move on, find some other guys and earn their respect...
I don't find majority of them rude and disrespectful, it's just funny to see how they all of a sudden turn from being all nice and charming to rude and disrespectful as soon as they find out you're a feminist..

Men don't get respect just because we exist. In fact you yourself said "most men don't deserve respect". You are having the same problem those men have. You don't deserve respect just because you exist. For whatever reason you are failing to earn the respect of the men in your life.
One quick way to lose the respect of men or women is to show how sexist you are towards their gender. Your attitude about guys is likely a big part of the reason guys don't want to treat you better.
Hey!! i'am not disrespectful! i'm trying to get a girlfriend but all these girls don't like the nice guy, they like the dude who will treat them bad. The only disrespect i might say is like car jokes how women can't drive lol, but it;'s not true though.. other than that, i will never be rude to women. Did something happen to you?
We aren't all savages ya know, this stuff happens on both sides of the gender wall, my rule of thumb is if you meet a idiot then tell em where to stick it, but seriously not all guys are like this including me and plenty of my female friends can vouch for me... hell i helped one build a damn nursery today and took another one shopping because she was involved in a hit and run and dare not go out walking so there's my gosh darn morals and stuff i got plenty of em for males and females.
Ughh... don't make presumptions about all men. There are men/boys who are gery sweet and respectful. My father is very respectful towards every woman who is respectful towards him. Boys mu age can be jerks but there are still some that are gentlemanly, and are always complimenting girls, and opening doors for them and listening to them. I don't know what caused you to stereotype men like this, but you're wrong.
Actually, they are just too shy to express their true feelings to the opposite sex. So, just to hide their feelings, they try to make changes to their behavior to that particular women. But in lieu of this, they mess up their manners and principles thus ending up in a disaster of showing no respect to women.

There's many women that are disrespectful and mean to men, that street goes both ways. There's women who are rude to others and have no morals, that street goes both ways too. You know why? Because, it's not a gender specified thing. It's an individual person thing, be them male or female. So, you can't call out one gender for being rude and stuff without calling out the other. They're both guilty of it, because they're people and people aren't perfect.
We can't say that all men are disrespectful... If one woman spends nights with different guys she will be called a slut by the society right? But then does it mean that the society should shout out and say "all women are sluts , why are all women sluts?"
Similarly not all guys are disrespectful. My boyfriend isn't like that nor my dad not even my guy-friends.

I am respectful to all people. I am no mean or rude. And my morals are just fine. I'm not unique at ll because so are millions of other guys.

It's called subjective perception. Lots of men are good men and there are definitely women who are as rude and disrespectful - in other ways - as well.
Deal with it and reconsider with which people you surround yourself.
