I found my husband's dirty underwear in the trash. Is this a sign of cheating?

My husband had been out of town for about a week and when he came back, he was texting some girl. (She does not live in the same state as we do.) He told me that nothing happened, but now this has gotten me suspicious finding his underwear in the trash. He also keeps photos on his phone that she had sent him. Should I be concerned that he's cheating?

what kind of photos and what was he texting her? the phone stuff sounds really shady but the underwear could be from any number of reasons unless you mean theyre dirty because they have cum stains on them?

The underwear did have his cum stains on them and something else. I know that guys sometimes pre-ejaculate, but why would he throw them away if it was something normal? The photos were of them being drunk together and a selfie of her.

yeah guys can do that normally just like girls get discharge but i get how strange that looks if he has nothing to hide and he's still wearing older underwear than those. maybe its a guilty conscience and although you dont have proof he's paranoid you'll see something on them and know he cheated when he was away. you need to have this out with him or wait until he next goes out of town and see if he acts this way again, i personally lean towards him cheating on you with this woman its all too coincidental - the texts, photos and the underwear all at once

There is something shady going on just by the pictures being sent and the being all warm and fuzzy. The underwear could be old, felt funny or he shit in them.

I'm wondering if they had something going on while he was out of town and kept a souvenir and then maybe trashed it so he wouldn't get caught. It just seems really weird that he would toss a good pair of underwear in the trash when he's still washing and wearing old worn out ones.

Why would he keep his own underwear as a souvenir? Normally it would be the woman's panties that guys would keep. Maybe he threw them away by mistake, or they were uncomfortable for some reason.
