Last year I asked my mom how she's able to be happy with one person for so long (she's been married nearly 30 years). She said "Marry someone you respect. Because if you respect them, then you're going to love them."
I guess that's why I fell in love with my most recent boyfriend. He'd been my friend for years before so I already knew what an extraordinary person he was. Then he got drunk one night and put his arm around me and that's when I realized I didn't ever want to be without him. They say you can pinpoint the exact moment you fall in love with someone, and that was it.
What makes me fall in love with a person is how they treat people. That they genuinely treat everybody kindly and fairly. Also, that they embrace life. They seek out adventure, have things they are working toward, and despite all that is wrong in the world they are able to see hidden beauty in every hidden nook and cranny. But most importantly they have to feel like a best friend. Someone who I am 100% comfortable in being me around. We can be our crazy goofy geeky selves together and somehow still be sexually attracted to each other at the end of the day hah!
I was friends with my boyfriend before we got together cause I don't think you can fall in love before the friend-stage. Cause then you're just attracted to their looks. When we were friends we knew eachothers flaws and accepted them cause we loved hanging with eachother and our friendship just grew ^^

I fell in love with this guy for no reason, I can't figure out how I got these feelings as the guy never really did anything but show me he is interested. I've liked guys before but they never lasted like the way they are now. I know it's love for me as there literally has not been a day in the whole two years I've known him where I haven't thought of him. It would break my heart if he ever wanted to move on.
Well for me it was getting to know someone so well and sorta friend zoning them for a while! :/ (sorry) Everything he said and did was so fun and I interesting. We could have conversations on basically nothing for hours and not even notice! Eventually I realised that he liked me a lot and I thought, why not give it a go, try a good guy...and I've stuck with him ever since! :)
He seemed like a really nice guy and he is in many ways and that's why I like him but he can also be a stubborn jack ass and I am learning more and more about this side of him and am pulling away. Well basically, I am going to break up with him.

I am certainly in love with my boyfriend although it has been about 7 months now we say it all the time, i know it because i feel like he makes me a better person and i picture a future together.
