I like cooking and doing housework. This doesn't mean that I don't want to have a job
But I prefer being the one cooking and doing the housework.
Is this bad or good and what does girls think about it? (Or would you be a house Husband)?

Proud of my brother. He has a fulltime job (works some overtime on weekends), is the father of 2 young kids, and does the family cooking and all home repairs. Will do dishes, cleaning, works as partners with is wife instead of delegating her all the housework. This frees up some time for her to not only attend some college classes but also start a homemade clothing line. Last I checked it's 2018 and when husband and wife work hard together, it's better for everyone involved.

You mainly need to be outside and providing for the wife, not the other way around. Yes, it's good you can cook and clean. Any woman in her right mind would want to marry you for those benefits. But by you saying you want to be a house husband is a put-off in the long run. Temporary is one thing. For the rest of the marriage is another, it will just make her resent you.

No, I would rather cook for him and take care of the house, while he is at work and when he comes back I would welcome him with his favourite food, massages and some affection. He shouldn't be worried about housechores, I will gladly do that for him. Unless I am sick or he has few days off then I would appreciate him assisting me.

I have always been very old fashioned. I want to be the one who usually cooks. That' my space. Of course, I love it when he occasionally cooks for me. It makes me feel cared for and special. But I want to see my man go to work in the morning and come back home at night and tell me wjat happened at work. I love kids and when I get pregnant I would prefer to be a stay at home wife/mum for few years, but if he wants to be stay at home hubby/father then it will make things difficult for me.

I think guys like that are good, although Id want to help him from time to time. But a guy who does actually stay at home to take care of the house is not really something im into since im easily stressed and that would put too much pressure on me when it comes to work.

@nasty4fun I agree both should raise the kids I'm just saying that's my only concern. And yes abusive parents can be both genders. I'm not trying to dis men on parenting or anything. I just think it's more important for children to be with there mothers while there babies for breastfeeding and things like that
