Most people aim to be nurturing and supportive partners. The problem is more one of perception, and expression. What one sees as being caring, the other may percieve as overbearing.
Parenting is a natural and intuitive way of showing how they love each other. They without knowing themselves do this. And I think this is a very good sign in a relationship.
Because you're doing something/triggering something in her that brings out her nurturing instincts. Some nurturing is okay, but not 24/7. Make sure you're not unconsciously acting in a submissive or helpless way towards her.
I think the answer is you didn't have male role models and so took up a lot of feminine energy, as well you still may project "child" emotion. So she is just responding to who you are.
This happens a lot when you're with someone older than you. They may have more knowledge of life so or think they do so they think they are teaching you something like a parent does to their child.
Most women do not like to be the parent of their partners. It might be just some womens instinct. I am definitely not like that. But if this happens, it may also be that the man doesn't know how to properly watch out for himself.
It's their way of showing they care and that their man is part of their brood. Sometimes it's nice, other times it's demeaning. Depends on the context.
The genes in her making her feelings like a mother of she loves somebody. For the same reasons women want to change the man they love and even punish him.
I don't think that's weird unless you... Take it to weird places... Nothing wrong with being protective of your female

because they think they are "training" their partner, like he's a dog or something. turn the bad boy into a good boy... oops, oh he cheated again? oh well now she blames all men for her mistakes and the vicious cycle continues

Maternal instincts. Nurturing nature. Feeling like the doctor to heal a wounded.
What's not to love. I'd be happy if a woman did these things to me. It's cute and sweet.

answer is to change/heal you, not her.

Well they say women go after men who remind them of their fathers and men go after women that remind them of their mothers. Sooo *Shrugs*
Could be that she's just really maternal and has that kind of instinct and nature about her.
It's a natural instinct to act like a parent when your partner acts like a child.
Agreed.
You're fast.
I know
And so are you
🙋♂️
I am confused now I am sorry.
I gotta stop using that emoji. It is a guy waving, but for some reason it flips to a girl waving with the male symbol. My bad. Was just acknowledging.
Oh okay but it looks like a woman.
I see
Maybe I'll try the girl next time and it'll show a guy. 🙋♀️
OK, I give up. Take care.
No worries. Haha
And maybe it wants you to be a girl. 😋😋
Nothing wrong with girls...😉
You are right about that.
The only time I’ve “parented” a boyfriend is when I was forced to, meaning that he was a lazy sack of shit.
We like to feel needed and usually a person needs their parents for something, it could also be some sort of way to get close to you

It’s maternal instinct I think. She wants you to make good choices
There’s perhaps no exact or certain way to know as this is dependent on the person and can stem from a variety of factors.
Because for many women it's natural to be parental and giving when there with there partner.
Because some partners are immature and act like children... We are talking about men right now, correct. Way to be politically correct...

Some people need to be parented. You adapt to your surroundings like it or not
