My boyfriend is great. He loves me and I love him just as much. He often tells me that he thinks I'm perfect, that he loves me more than anything and that I am his little baby.

I feel the same.

However, when he gets drunk he says things like : "You are the love of my life", "I want us to get married" "Will you be the mother of my children" "We belong together"...

I find that super cute.

However he almost forgets every time what he said when he wakes up the next morning and he never says these things when he's not drunk...

What does this mean?

I do this all the time to my girlfriend to see her reaction... and if she disregarded it or something then ill pretend like I was plastered and don't remember it... lol I'm f***ing irish I don't forget anything when I'm drunk I'm what they like to call a functioning alcoholic... we drink, fight, and party... nope, makes it easier... same as when some people text the girl saying stuff to see her reaction then if its bad say there friend took the phone... its safer because I don't wanna get hurt again.. hey I never said it was the best just that some people do it I know I'm not the only one

When your boyfriend sounds like a happy drunk. When he is drunk he is likely to praise you because he is feeling good. Not that he necessarily does not mean what he says, it just may be a little exaggerated.
