Male friend thinks every guy likes me?

Hi

I have a good male friend. Lately I noticed that he thinks that every second guy I speak to or looks my way wants me. Today I told him about something very innocent my boss said to me about not having to inform him if I need to leave work early. My friend out of the blue said ' does he also want you?' I told him that's he talking nonsense so he said I am clueless and don't notice when guys like me.
Could it be that actually my guy friend likes me? I have feelings for him and also think every girl wants him!

Your male friend is a guy, and as a guy, he knows something that all guys know, but that few women truly understand or will accept: If you are an attractive women, then most men, from 16 to 60, want to have sex with you. That's built into male DNA and it's near-universal.

This doesn't mean that these men want to be IN A RELATIONSHIP with you, and it doesn't mean that most of these men would do anything about their attraction - many may never even speak to you, much less "make a move." Still, that doesn't change the fact that every man who finds you attractive would have sex with you if the situation allowed for it (meaning: you were okay with it, and you were both single and/or it wouldn't affect other relationships).

Because he knows this about men, he is understandably suspicious anytime a guy pays any special attention to you, because by doing that, it usually means the man finds you attractive, thus - he would bang you if he could.

Why does your friend care? Obviously, because he likes you (has feelings for you), but doesn't have the confidence to ask you out, because he's not sure how you feel about him, and doesn't want to risk being shot down and potentially losing you as a friend too. Since you say you like him, you need to SHOW IT, and make it clear to him that you're interested, so that he feels safer about asking you out. Without some assurances, he won't have the courage to take the risk.

does he act this way around other girls? if so, i'd say he probably just has the "alpha male" persona. if he doesn't, i'd definitely say he has some feelings for you.
