I'd be more likely to let him have the chair then sit on him as he is heavier than me, although this would only be if we are going to be there for a long time and there won't be chairs Available anytime soon
it has lotta to do with dignity... but on the other hand it doesn't seem too bad. My friend did it to me so I scolded him but he stayed and it was not that bad lol

So lets say there are two situations:
1. You are sitting with friends talking or whatever there are no more seats left and your close guy friend sits on your lap without permission? Would you be ok with this and what would you do or say? Would you find it weird?
2. You are also sitting with friends talking or whatever and you see your close guy friend standing near you or a couple feet away and there are not seats left? What would you do? (he could be talking you but he is standing) What would you do or say in this scenario?
why did you scold him? why did you let him stay? Why doesn't it seem to bad?

soo... the dignity question... I was raised to never let boys be so close that easily. I don't know but I just felt like it wasn't right, althought I let him, cuz he was a friend.

I scolded him cuz it's just the way we react when someone does something inappropriate, but I didn't really mean it... I mean I was not really rude or mad or anything.
It's just really confusing situation for me cuz I just don't want boys to sit on my lao like it was nothing, but on the other hand... it is not that big deal if it is a close friend and there is nothing else in it.
Yes I find it weird but I know close friends do that.
2. I wouldn't do anything. If it was weird to sit and let him standing while we are talking, I would just stand next to him.

Why not? We might do it for fun, but if you mean much more long period of time I prefer to change places and sit on his lap

Has never happened to me.. I have had guys asking me to sit on their laps but not the other way around and it was usually when they liked me

1. If it was a close guy friend if he randomly did it I'd probably make some sort of joke out of it
2. I'd probably just offer my seat to him instead of him sitting on my lap lol
If it was a girl then I wouldn't really care either way.
