Do you think that most women who get abortions feel guilty afterward?

Lately, it seems like so many women are fans of abortion and feel like it’s their right. I’m just curious whether that feeling continues after they’ve actually gone through with it.

It has to be one of the deepest pains that they have ever been through or put themselves through. We all know in our hearts for a long time they cry themselves to sleep.. we know it changes them and who they are . We know down deep they would never even think about doing such a this if it wasn't do to rape or have difficulty in caring long term I believe it slowly kills them within uf they dont let it go. Almost becoming cold hearted about it

I very very rarely allow anonymous posting on my questions, but for this particular one, I left it open to anonymous users also. That’s because I was hoping I’d get some responses from people who went through this. I felt like they most likely wouldn’t want to reveal their identities.

It’s just that I hear so many people saying that a fetus isn’t a person, etc. So it seems like if they truly believe that, then they wouldn’t care about ending its life. So I was just curious about what goes on with the women afterward and whether they still continue to feel that way.

it would be very weird if they didn't feel guilty. cause pregnancy prepares the mother hormonally to provide for the baby. so if that baby never comes, those hormones still linger and make her feel that something is missing and that something isn't right. so that usually is transformed into feeling guilty. if that feeling never comes, i think there's probably something wrong with her hormonally or psychologically. not making a negative judgement here. that "something wrong" might be a traumatic event or something.

Yes I think it takes a toll on most women. People debate and talk about the topic lightly but even if one is pro choice it doesn’t make the decision to get one easy. Every girl I know or know of that has had an abortion all ended up mentally drained from going through it even if it was the right decision for them

Many of them feel guilt but some do not. Getting an abortion is a difficult decision to make and not a decision most women take lightly. Some women get abortions because it's the right decision for them at the time and it depends on their circumstances.

I haven’t felt Guilt in many many Years. It becomes part of the Personality and brain changes start to happen when someone loses There Ability to feel Guilt. My brain 🧠 has changed. And so has my personality. Those that don’t feel Guilt will not wake up feeling Guilty.

a lot do. I like to think it's a hard decision for some (i. e. a young scared teenage girl that has had her life turned upside down by an unplanned pregnancy). But considering most abortions performed today (51%) are preformed in pill form. I KNOW some women use it as a form of birth control.
And that's the REAL problem I have with abortion. When you take a Blaise attitude towards something like this it "normalizes" it. And abortion should NEVER be normalized. When we take a Blaise attitude towards life like that. We've truly lost our humanity.

It seems like in that case, they would look at the abortion as just another medical procedure, like a surgery or something. People don’t get guilty feelings after having an appendix removed for example.
