Why does my friend always stare at me?

I have a friend who always stares at me and I don't understand why he does it. When we see each other in the hallway we say hey to each other. were both with are friends and everytime were together one of his friends comes up and asks him if he likes me or they ask him if he will date me and I'm standing right there and I can't help but smile. He's really nice we've known eachother since the eighth grade and he hasn't talked to me until the beginning of the ninth grade. He treats me differently than the other girls he talks to. My friends ask me if I like him as well and I'm not afraid to express my feelings. Please help me I really appreciate it.

I think you already know the answer. He likes you, and that's for sure. What do you think about your friend? Even though your young (from my point of view), communication is always the key to finding out what a person feels, and explains everything. I think if it comes down to him liking you, and you liking him, I think you both need to talk about things. The best person to start a relationship would be a good friend. Even though sometimes its hard to become more, but isn't that what where all searching for?
