Just means he may not be a texter. I prefer face to face and hate texting. Texting is for quick updates, not a whole conversation.

That he's looking for actually meaningful contact and interactions, not pretending via text. Perhaps you should learn from him.
His personality type is vocal rather then textual. So some people like to text who r shy. Others are expressive n love to show u their gestures n tone by talking.
Probably doesn't want type a lot. Also might be that texting is kind of back and forth, while talking is more real time.

I do think that some guys tend to enjoy meeting in person instead of spending time on chat. Some guys prefer to invest on having face to face conversation rather than chat. Not all guys though.
It isn't shyness.
Some girls have this annoying habit of 1-3words answers that might be why.
Sometimes it is difficult to put over in text. Much easier to do it in person..
Well texting is never as interresting as watching a person in the eyes and talk, there is just no emotion in texting try videocalling ;)
