Think I got rejected by my crush of 4 years. How to move on/what to do now?

Asked the guy I liked out since the first year of high school. Got rejected I think? He’s really really nice to me and then he’ll completely ignore me so I asked him if he liked talking to me and he said “I guess” and we haven’t talked since then so yeah. What to do now, how to move on, where to find cute guys (none of them ever truly seem to compare to him ie. I’ll have another crush but I’ll still like him more)?

Well just cut off contact. Probably not something you're going to want to do, most likely because you're still hopeful he'll like you back but the problem is. And you even mentioned it yourself and it's that when you do find someone else you find your self, whether you know it or not, comparing the new guy to the old crush and then you're just like eh whatever. I've been through something similar where I would talk to girls but just eventually get bored of them because they weren't as good as the first girl. How I got over it was we just stopped talking once out of highschool and I still and following her and she's cute still but I genuinely don't really care about her.

The less you see the guy you like the faster you'll get over him. Oh and also delete old messages too cause that's only one more thing you can go back and read and stay having feeling

It is important to understand that crushes are not real people, they are your fantasy which you are imprinting onto someone, so although that person exists, they are not who you believe them to be.

I think with crushes it is best to either shoot your shot right away and get it over with or never reveal your feelings and just enjoy the fantasy.

‘I think’ isn’t enough reason. You need to actually tell him you like him and see if he wants to hang out with you sometime.

Also, if you wanna find cute boys - go to sporting events of guys your age. My brother plays basketball so every week, I’m in a massive 10 court stadium packed with cute boys. And it only gets better when he’s playing reps.
The guys get cuter the higher level it is.

You should have looked the early signs that this guy was giving to you that he doesn't likes you like ignoring you , don't want to be around you, never talks about you , But i am glad that you asked him and you got the answer so now you can moove on.
