Yes, but not for the reason you're asking about. I have left a girl to get back with an ex, but I didn't regret leaving the other girl. My regret was getting back with my ex. The fact that I was even willing to leave the other relationship in the first place is kind of evidence that it wasn't working, so I don't regret leaving that relationship at all.
