My instructor asked me this week if I wanted to have a dance lesson on the 23rd December. He was even nice enough to adjust the time of the meeting to my needs. IT was a surprise, because he said he didn't have a practisce room available during Christmas season and , moreover, his holiday starter on the 20th. I said 'yes' on impulse, but now I'm wondering if he might have felt kind of obliged and I should have declined subtly. I mean I AM happy because of this, but it's Christmas after all, everyone wants to have some time off.

Well it’s not Christmas Eve nothing is done that day and men aren’t so deceptive. Well not in this manner. He wouldn’t have offered if he didn’t mean it. Not only so he would be smart enough to know a female who’s passionate about something wouldn’t decline on the offer. He was probably feeling merry. It’s the season after all not just another holiday.
Most have to work just before Christmas Eve..
Yes, of course they do. I also work myself, but I'm wondering if IT was fine of me to accept the offer even while I knew he was supposed to be on holiday.
Wanting time off and actually getting IT usually never happens between Thanksgiving and New Years day. Well unless one gives notice months before or doesn't burn their sick time far too early. All I can say otherwise is that you did agree and should be obligated to show up. Or just call it off, it's a dance session after all.
