How do you know if it's second date vibes?

I went on a date with this guy yesterday and it felt really nice it was more of a getting to know each other kinda thing, and we vibed a lot. There were some awkward silences but he was super lovely, but he was so nice and paid for everything too

When we came back to the station he wanted to go in my train line but it'd take him longer so he just went back on his... I wanted to ask him if he'd wanted to go on a second date but didn't know how to ask him then how do you know if it's second date vibes?

Sounds like you got it for sure. As for how to ask him out, something along the lines of, "Hey that was fun, want to do it again? Also a good idea, if you're asking to have an idea what to do. And lastly, remember, if you ask, you pay. It doesn't have to be expensive, a picnic, a coffee date, movie, whatever.
