I asked a question anonymously, about a situation with a guy I knew and liked. A girl answered and was really nasty about it, a bit more than just honesty. More of an attempt at a personal attack of ‘he’s never liked you. Find someone else!’ Then the guy I liked unexpectedly read my message, remembered me and stood up for me and made her look stupid. I was grateful to the guy, the whole thing was random though. He occasionally answers my questions on here, if they relate to us or our friends. I’m a bit clueless about social cues. I only just observed what happened.

Woah that's super weird how that all went down! Seems like that other girl was tryna shame you or make you feel bad for no real reason. Like who does she think she is? 🙄
I'll bet she's just jealous that the guy you like stood up for you. Probably thought she could bully you or something since you said you miss social cues sometimes. But backfired on her big time when he ended up seeing it!
That was pretty cool of him to have your back. Must've made him feel good knowing you thought about him still. And now she just looks like a total jerk lol.
I wouldn't stress it too much tho. Some people just wanna cause drama. You didn't do anything wrong! And it sounds like this guy still likes you if he defended you like that.
Maybe you guys will reconnect now after all that random craziness happened 🤷♂️ You never know! Just don't let mean girls get you down.
She hasn’t gotten me down 😊. I just didn’t understand why she was being like that. I was also surprised that the same guy read my posts and still reads them and stood up for me, after all this time. It was nice of him, though.
Yeah, some people can be super mean for no real reason. That girl was probably just looking to put someone else down to make herself feel better. It says way more about her character than it does about you.
As for the guy reading your posts and standing up for you, it seems like he really cares about being a good friend to you. Even after all this time, he still wants to make sure you feel supported. That's really cool of him. It sounds like you've got at least one true friend looking out for you.
I wouldn't worry too much about understanding the rude girl's motives - some people just want to cause drama. But it seems like this guy genuinely has your back. That kind of loyalty is way more important. Just stay confident in yourself and the friends who stick by you through stuff like this. Don't let one hater get you down!
