Why does he still try to get my attention even when I ignore him?

So a guy tries to get my attention at the gym despite me ignoring him. I’m used to guys ignoring me back when I show disinterest but he won’t give up, I didn’t reject him but he is a womanizer in the gym I always see him with a different woman and he’s quite popular. He’s also fairly attractive so not sure what he wants with me or why he keeps trying to make an effort when I have shown zero interest, haven’t even looked at him.

No, ma'am, I'm totally serious. I mean, obviously not all guys will respond that way, but you'd be amazed by how many of us are just spellbound by a woman whom we're very much attracted to, only to be ignored by her. I know that probably sounds strange, but it's very often true.

Yeah I understand that, but hard to get vs. completely disinterested should be clear. If you ask a woman for her number and she says no that doesn’t mean she’s playing hard to get…

I strogly disagree with this ^ statement. Women THINK men should know the difference, but to us it's all the same. Dispite the common misconception, we can't read minds.

Actually, most guys I’ve been disinterested in have gotten the hint. They didn’t continue to pursue. If me completely ignoring you and avoiding eye contact still makes you think “maybe she’s interested” seems like a trait of autism.
