When I try to gain weight, it doesn't distribute, it just goes straight to my stomach.
How can I gain it equally? I wanna be voluptuous! lol!!!
I've struggled with gaining weight my whole life. I realized though, my idea of gaining weight was be eating crap food, which, not to be disgusting, kind of just shot right through me. Just eat a lot of healthy food and measure your calorie intake. There are plenty of calorie calculators for reference online that take into factor how much you exercise as well.
The foods I intake everyday are almost constant, but you can change it up, I'm just too lazy to make different eating schedules, mine usually goes like this:
- 2 brown eggs and 2 pieces of whole grain, whole wheat toast in the morning
- two granola bars
- either a sub or chipotle burrito for lunch
- green apple
- half a can of unsalted, mix nuts (highly recommend this, lots of calories)
- lemon pepper chicken with white rice
- banana
- greek yogurt
I try to drink as little as possible during meals, that way I can store more food in my stomach with feeling full. I also try not to drink 40 min - 1 hr before a meal. I drink about 6-8 16 oz glasses of water a day, but will occasionally cave into a cup of soda. This, mixed with weight training, has helped me gain about 30 pounds within the last year.

Yeah, but I would be weary if certain parts of your body gain more weight than others, that is to say undistributed. I tend to get a gut after awhile if I don't exercise and weight training helps me cut belly fat.

First thing you want to do is actually try to eat from "healthy" sources of fat. So no chips and burgers lol
Also you need to have a rigorous training exercise which decreases the chances of the fat going to your stomach.
lol well it seems like big boobs and butt is the only thing that is considered attractive these days. I see all these people saying "curvy is sexy!" and it makes me feel horrible about myself. :/

Honestly I prefer smaller breast and a lot of guys feel the same. As far as the butt... big isn't better, What a lot of guys appreciate is how tone it is. So if you work on squats and lunges etc.. it will go a long way. The word curvy is losing it's meaning as of late :/ So no need to worry I'm sure you look great :)

If you asked for general preference, yes guys will say curvy. However, that doesn't mean that we don't love other body types lol
It's the equivalent of asking a girl what eye color they prefer... sure a lot of people can pick something but that doesn't mean we wouldn't fall in love with brown eyes lol

Everyone aims weight in different areas. When I gain weight, most of it goes to my hips and belly. My friend gains weight mostly in her chest and arms.
Body fat does distribute itself everywhere but in some places more than others. So I depends on you and your genetics. Not every women gets it in her hips and chest, it's really different for everyone and you can't control it

Oddly enough everything goes to my butt and calves. My torso is so uneven.
If it all goes to your stomach, its fat, so not the good choice. You have to gain muscle mass, so sport a lot and besides eat a lot of vegetables and proteins and slow carbs ( so not sugar or soft drinks) like bread, fruit, brown rice, ...

Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight:
Eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster.
Choose nutrient-rich foods.
Try smoothies and shakes. (I recommend BANANA MilkShake)
Watch when you drink.
Make every bite count.
Most importantly - Exercise. <- This will help you to distribute it all over your body, otherwise you'll become fat.
Please notice:
#1. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals.
#2. Choose whole-grain breads, pastas and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts and seeds. Eggs.
#3. Snack on nuts, peanut butter, cheese, dried fruits and avocados. Have a bedtime snack, such as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or a wrap sandwich with avocado, sliced vegetables, and lean meat or cheese.
#4. Say no to sugar.

#5. EXERCISE insanely.
Not to much sweet food or candy, make sure you have good meals and more pasta. And the most important thing: work out.
The working out will help you gain weight in muscles more than in fat.
It will also give you more appetite.
Oh and don't check your weight each day... since that will make you nervous.
Do it once a week, that will be fine :-)
I don't believe there is a 'healthy' way of gaining weight. There's no reason why weight on your belly is more or less healthy than your ass and boobs. Fat that accumulates inside your core i. e on your liver and stuff is the unhealthy fat that sets up up for a heart attacks and other unpleasant biz.
Stay away from saturated fats and do your squats if you insist on looking a certain way.
But in my opinion...

You can't. Your body decides where your fat is stored. Instead, try lifting. By toning your body, you will appear more curvy.
consume lots of protein maybe?
also working out your legs/arms will help i assume
