What should I expect when I get back to the gym?

I have been heavy lifting for a year now. Always squatting, pressing, curling and extending. All that.
I recently took a week off the gym because I was under a lot of stress. Then, I managed to get to the gym on the Monday after, but came down with a bad virus on Tuesday. My doctor says I'll need another week of rest, so all up, that's three weeks of no gym. I'm not eating properly, either. Everything I force myself to eat I just throw up. I try to sip protein shakes but it juts makes me feel sick. Thise past week I've just been in bed and eating under 500 calories a day. I've lost SO MUCH WEIGHT! It's not too bad though because you can see my abs now ;)
How long will it take me to regain my size and strength? What should I do when I feel better in the gym?
What should I expect when I get back to the gym?
