Can anyone give game changing advice to remove these dark circles?

Go to sleep earlier. Your circadian rhythm is totally screwed up when you go to bed past 1-2am. Aim for 11am at the latest. Get off your phone and turn off any screens 30 min before bed. Turn off all lights, aim for pitch black. Keep your eyes closed even if you aren’t tired. That’s step 1. The rest is just drinking water, staying away from drugs and alcohol, and eating healthy foods. It’s kind of like a fat person asking how to lose weight. The answer is obvious but it’s up to them whether they do something or not.
Ok thanks i always go to sleep around that time just like tonight
You should look into Chinese medicine and the health of your kidneys. See your face/body never lies on amazon.
What's your emotional health like? Do you carry a lot of fear?
How active, productive and happy are you throughout the day?
You will probably benefit from eating less salt and animal based products, and eating more whole plant based foods.
Thanks will try
FUCK YEAAA. Sorry, I’m studying traditional Chinese medicine. Not a lot of people are educated on that matter so that’s what I like to see! There’s a number of herbs that could improve your condition. It could also be a case of hyper pigmentation.
Hyper pigmentation is caused by sun exposure or inflammation. There’s other causes but those are 2 big ones. You can find whitening gels (such as an Rx), chemical peels, dermabrasion etc. For the mean time, keep the area moist with unscented creams that are easy on the eyes. They could also just be dry! Good luck.
Ok thanks! Does retinal work as well?
@needhelpwiththis0 I'm not really sure, but I believe Retinol is much more beneficial for reducing under eye wrinkles than dark circles. Then again, I'm neither a dermatologist nor an esthetician. There are better options than Retinol, but firstly, the cause of dark circles must be determined. I went through your comments under this post, and you seem to be getting enough sleep. As one of the GaG members, Levin suggested, how is your mental health? Are you eating healthy food? I'd advice you to drink more water. If you follow all this and still have dark circles, I'm afraid it's because of genetics.
We are not medical professionals here, and I've heard Retinol must be used in pea sized amounts as prescribed by your physician. It's always best to consult a dermatologist. They would be of much more assistance to you than us.
I would also suggest keeping a reasonable diurnal rhythm. Ie getting up at a reasonable time instead of sleeping in , or examining why you sleep in. The body likely works best when it works to a more presumably ancient body rhythm where we got up early, say 6am. I'd bet it fucks with your body when you sleep in till say 9am. Or at least, that's my experience. Our ancestors got up when it was light, and slept when it was dark
Very good advice
May I ask… Do you smoke, drink, have a poor diet, and intake lots of caffeine? Those are common lifestyle factors that can be changed.
Genetics also play a big role.
Natural remedies may help. Some include putting ice under your eyes or cold spoons to increase blood flow. I also heard wet camomile/green tea bags work. Of course, creams help too.
haven't smoked and drank in my whole life (if thats correct English) i dont take lots of caffeine, i do eat the same things every day and i dont eat breakfast due lack of time, could that be a reason why?
Do you eat healthy foods full of nutrients? If not, then that definitely causes dark circles.
This is what i eat in a day: i skip breakfast, then eat slices of sandwiches with either cheese and peenut butter plus a snack maybe and in the eavening i mostly eat meat with vegetables
It might just be genetics. As long as you get recommended hours of sleep, eating enough nutrients, dark circles often go away or are limited.
I dont have anyone with this issue in my family
Not too sure, then.
Dont expect you to be a doctor but thanks a lot for the response
Make sure you eat healthy food. Don't stay up too late. Try applying rose water cotton pad on your eyes, cucumber or grated cucumber in a tissue on your eyes or try inknut powder's paste around your eyes. Or just visit a doctor, they'll prescribe you something that might help you reduce dark circles around your eyes.
Ah seriously i thought you were serious lol i saw a video of a indian who said it worked. I should have remembered about the fact that we should never trust indian turorials

Honestly, you will have them for the rest of your life. Genetics plays a huge role here.
No one has it in my family and i didn't always have them, so its not genetics. Does this still mean i will have them forever?
I think it looks hot on you, but then again I’ve always been into guys who look tired or have dark circles. I think you can minimize the look by getting enough sleep, drinking more water, maybe try on the caffeine solution from the ordinary (my friend said it’s helped her improve her dark circles), I heard cold compresses also help depuff and shrink down the blood vessels around your eyes.
Sugar consumption causes dark circles. So does lack of vitamin C. So, cut sugar, take lots of C, drink more water, and you can try a "brightening" eye cream in the meantime. They will take a long time to fade, but will eventually with proper nutrition (usually months).
Have you been suffering from allergies? If you have allergies, the trouble with your sinuses can cause dark circles. Having Anemia can also cause dark circles. Aside from that, it could be a skin problem that a dermatologist can look at. If you don’t care about the source and just don’t want the dark circles to show, you could use makeup. Most men would not like to wear makeup but it is an option— buy a concealer that matches your skin and apply it over the dark areas to lighten them visually.
I've got dark circles too and I think they're more visible, depending on the lighting.
I came up with the idea of using a skin lightening cream around my eyes, so maybe try that or just try an eye cream that's specifically designed for dark circles.
I think not being hydrated can play it's part and how deep a person's eyes are in, as it can create the illusion of shadows, making the eye area appear darker.
I think you should keep them. Shows how shitty a man’s life is compared to women’s. How else are they supposed to know if we don’t show it? If we don’t they’re gonna think our lives are perfect and blame us men. When really we look like that for a reason and they ( women) couldn’t give a true ass fuck
Make sure you're drinking plenty of water. I find the best thing for dark spots is a product called niacinamide, you can buy it in a serum form. Just wash your face daily with a gentle face wash and apply a little under the eye, I like to let it sit then apply a light moisturizer over the top. Best to do at night so everything has time to sit.
Do you spend a lot of time in front of your computer or phone screen? If so, that could also be a factor. You need to use an eye cream and consult a dermatologist
Are you getting deep sleep or REM sleep? I take melatonin sometimes when I feel run down because it helps me achieve REM sleep.
Maybe you don't drink much water. Stay hydrated. I had those (not as big) when I was of 6 years but it was fixed when I started drinking healthy amount of water. If that doesn't works then it is genetics I guess.
Why?
Keep your eyes on the TV, there have been some advertisements for some stuff that does that.
You are a pretty handsome guy by the way :)
Ok will look for it and thanks lol
I've had them for a while now... I think they're attractive lol.. I even like them on other people.. They go away when I sleep well and I'm not too stressed... And by sleeping well I mean when I have enough hours.. And in night time... That's a must
have you always looked like that, or are the dark circles something new?
No i wasn't always like this
There are cosmetics treatment for this. Laser treatment etc.
Other than that its caused by stress.
Is it expensive or are doctors who do this accesable?
I’m not a doctor but you could try wearing make up to hide it.
Well its genetics more than likely. Sometimes people with dark circles can have a genetic thing if they also have growths or big warts on them
Talk to a dermatologist. You may need professional treatment.
Sleep, eat right and if it doesn't Work... Make up.
Are you getting enough sleep?
Mostly yes but i do sleep late tho
How many hours on average would you say?
8 to 9
But maybe its because i sleep late, but even then... i get enough sleep
Ok so that is normal sleep. You can use cucumber slices, a cold washcloth or tea bags. Those are all proven to help reduce the dark circles.
I ll try, i always stopped doing it after one day because of lack of believe it would work
Stop smoking and stop masturbating
R u Arabic? Maybe cuz of genetic?
No one has it in my family
It could just be genetics
Its not cuz no one in my family has it and i didn't always have them
Genetics are weird, are you sure none of your family members have it?
Not a single person, not even a little bit
I even have people in my family who go to bed rediculously late and they have nothing
Damn
Have you talk to a doctor about it or someone like that?
Yea actually, they want me to take a bloodtest first and look at the results
Oh, are you gonna take it?
I should yea
Tell me how it goes if you do
or don't its really none of my business
Bc you are turk and it's genetic
Im not a turk and no one in my family has this lol
What's your nation
Algerian
Ok Arabs And Turks similar face so it's genetic
No its not, like i said no one has it in my family and also on top of that i never see fellow algerians having dark circles. The people who have that are more like pakistanis or indians or countries from the subcontinent
Is there a family history of kidney disease?
No actually
Go to the department of endocrinology and metabolic diseases and give a blood test. If it is not genetic, there may be two reasons, either the kidneys are in trouble or there may be a problem between the liver and bile. If you have trouble sleeping, you should definitely see
Mmm ok thanks for the info
No prob
Are you kurdish by the way
Yes.
It might be genetic.
No bcz i didn't always have them and not a single person in my family has it
