You can eat some foods that are lean/wont cause much weight gain. For example I eat almonds like all day if I could. I f***ing love almonds and there chewy. Carrots or celery. You can graze throughout the day if its all healthy foods and you don't overload meal time.
For me, I didn't need any oral fixation. In fact I think that is something that people rely on. Funny thing about the mind your in complete control of it. If you don't want either gum or cigs just don't use either.

Don't leave extra time to crave cigarettes. Eat sunflower seeds.
what about baby carrots or celery? Both are crunchy, require a lot of chewing, and are low-cal.
You should just get over the urge. It takes willpower and determination, but in the long term, it produces tremendous results.
try going for walks. This is what helps me.
