Should I try to contact him?

So there's this guy. Whom I started to fall for. Kind of... Thing is, I'm with somebody but sometimes I question our relationship. We've been together for quite a long time already and this other guy I met about four years ago and never spoke to him till a few months ago. He fell in love with me but I had to let him go because I was with someone. He stopped talking to me after about three months of talking to each other. I think what I miss about him is his company. I miss those conversations we use to have. I miss him! He stopped talking to me because he was hurt I couldn't take it to the next level as he wanted to. Then he messaged me and told me to block him and all this because someone told him I was talking bad of him which isn't even true. I told him I honestly never talked bad about him but he didn't believe me. So I did as he told me to do and haven't talked to him in over a week. I'm dieing wanting to talk with him. But I know he won't talk to me. I feel like he hates me. Should I try unblocking him and give it a try and try to talk with him or just forget all about him no matter how much it hurts and keep moving on?
