I'm afraid the oil gets removed by my pillow, because I just can't sleep on the back.

healthy skin starts from within. drink plenty of water, eat fruit and veg and eat whole grains. Dark leafy greens are really good for the hair and skin. so stack up on kale and spinach. I have also noticed that when I have grapefruit my skin looks amazing.
In terms of skin care, less is more. I wash my face at night with aloe vera soap. its great since its antibacterial. I use dead sea salt moisturiser which has a thick consistency but it absorbs into my skin making it really soft in the next morning. I use dead sea salt scrub once a week cos I don't want to over do it. I never wash my face in the morning becasue if you wash your face too often you stri[p away the skins natural oils. which can cause more break outs since your skin realizes its dry and wants to produce oil again but it produces it in excess amounts. All I do in the morning, after I brush my teeth is use moisturiser. If I break out I have a aloe vera gel which I apply on those areas.
Dead sea salt is great for your skin.
Also Look up PMD. Its a micro dermabrasion kit which takes away dead skin from the face making your skin glow and removes acne scarring etc.
I started going natural recently and mainly used these two masks and it has helped my skin a lot, although it is not perfect, it's still better than when I used store bought products

I haven't tried this mask yet, but if you have acne it's supposed to help a lot with it and really clean your pores

Most skin problems at your age are hormonal. It doesn't hurt to stay clean, but the problems arise internally, not from invasions of viruses or anything like that.
Sorry to rain on your parade. The good news is that this will go away as you mature, in nearly every case.
