How can you really change of you can't admit to any wrongdoing or try to shift the blame to someone else. I can't have respect for people like that... We all make mistakes in life... But the first part to getting through or past those mistakes is to admit, own them land then work on not repeating those same mistakes

Who said I was the one needing a second chance 🤔 And agree, everyone needs to own up to their mistakes... But that's just the first step, you also have to change behavior and not repeat the same mistakes...
Most people that own up to their mistakes, don't continue the same behaviour and change for the better. Not always but I have found it to be true most times. I didn't mean you specifically needing a second chance. Should have said people. Sorry, poor choice of words. See even I make mistakes and own them.

Sorry you went through that... And yeah sometimes, some people really are sorry and really can/will change... But I personally seen to much of the opposite to give that much chance of success
I am a strong believer in forgiving that is why I forgave that woman... but in the end result there has to be some sort of understanding... to me personally I liked her physically... and gave her a second chance to say " hey I have a hot girlfriend ( sad excuse) I was young and stupid and I've learnt my lesson... but you have to make sure they actually change... I agree... But clean slate 1- means you can't start with the same bullshit that was causing issues in the first place... And 2- that has to be a clean slate for both, not just one...

Well yeah change don't happen overnight, it's a work in progress... But the first step is admitting and owning up to the issues and mistakes, and then working on ways for those things not to repeat themselves
