K so he works a job where he needs to look professional/nice but he's on his feet a lot. He himself doesn't care enough to invest his time into finding the right shoe (he hates shopping) so he just suffers.
These motherf***** are handcrafted with a sole made for WALKING not sitting on your ass all day. Think this is good enough? He also has pretty small feet so I needed it custom width (another reason why he doesn't bother)

If he's on his feet a lot then you should look into getting him orthotic insoles, not what the outside looks like.

I'm almost 50 myself, which I seem to recall is your boyfriend's age. Get him a good orthotic shoe, and get yourself one as well. You won't regret it.

um this shoe was designed to look professional/fancy on the outside but comfy on the inside and bottom. I paid 300 dollars for this shoes and read every review, it's good enough.

I like this sole on these ones, it just seems if he's always on his feet
this would be something for him, now the first ones could have a flat sole
which could cause him to slip on a certain floor and be uncomfortable

I don't know the guy, but I can say this with certainty: whether or not he appreciates it at the time, he'll definitely come to appreciate it, and quickly. If you're on your feet all day, a good, supportive pair of shoes is a godsend.
