This one of those question that requires an other category, because it depends a lot on the type of relationship it is.
YES- if you're just dating, not living together or have any financial dealings, mutual investment or children with them.
NO- if its a LTR or Marriage, because the out they are offering may not be the best finically for you or the kids, but the best option for them.
When you leave a LTR or Marriage there are a lot of factors that come into play and circumstance and timing matters a lot.

If I'm not happy in a relationship and I have done everything in my power to try to make it work it doesn't matter I'm going to leave anyway if I'm given an out or not I believe is a friend and I will try to remain your friend but it's just not working out and I would have to go

There's no reason not to, it's just waste of time for all involved even if the out is falsely given if you don't want to be with them you should set them free, they'll heal and move on without you as you will.
Yes I would, but I wouldn’t wait for the “out”. If I wanted to leave a relationship I would just do it.
Yeah, relationships are not for personal struggles. If either person has a problem with being with the other, somebody needs to sever the connection.
You don’t need a “out” to leave a relationship.
Sounds like a win win.
