Should I marry my boyfriend if I don't respect him?

Me and my boyfriend are two opposite poles. He does his job and enjoys or sleeps rest of the day, and i like to work and when i am free i work extra to improve. He loves to sleep and i hardly sleep. His food habit is bad and i take good care of my diet.

He loves me a lot, and when I am stressed he spends time taking care of me, giving me massage or etc. I love him too but sometimes i feel i don't respect him...

I scold him many times but he never gets angry on me... And i am always angry...

I don't know if i should marry him if i don't respect him... What do u all think? Share your story.. if any..

He is living his best life and you are a part of it. I'm sorry that he makes you angry for enjoying his short life, we only have a few short years on this earth and not everyone has plans for them.

If he is not what you want for the future then don't marry him. It won't make anything better. Seems like he loves you from your description, or at least likes you. But you don't like him. So no. Leave this content man so he can find a content woman. Go find your self-made man, someone to push you in the way you want. But keep in mind that comes with its own drawbacks.

If that was the case, the issue of feeling no respect/esteem for him wouldn't be there in the least.

That you "are always angry" is further proof to all that. You don't even like him, let alone love.

No, you should not marry him. Women are hypergamous by nature and will never be happy in a relationship with a man they don't respect. The marriage would be doomed to fail from the beginning. Spare him and yourself the pain.

once you get married and sign that dotted line, you are locked in, and from what you’ve expressed, you’re unhappy but trying to justify staying with him. don’t wear rose colored glasses and allow yourself to consider how nice it would be to be with someone who actually didn’t sleep so much and ate better. giving massages and helping are BASIC love acts that any guy would do to someone he loves. there is thus nothing special about them
