I met up with some childhood friends and God sister.
Anyways my god sister has been married a few years, whilst one friend is single and the other is pregnant.
I congratulated the friend on her baby but I noticed she was a little off, she seemed to have some attitudes.

My God sister was asking her about the baby and her birthing plan when they went on to talk about another mutual friend who had a complicated pregnancy, whilst they discussed it I found myself crossing my legs.

At some point I added that "I admired women that go through pregnancy and birth because I'm so not ready for that... "
It wasn't malicious it was just because I'd sat there so uncomfortably crossing my legs.
Anyways the pregnant one kinda rolled her eyes at me.

I don’t believe so. Don’t take your pregnant friends reaction personally. Pregnancy hormones are ROUGH. It can effect some women more than others, possibly contributing to your friends “attitude”. It’s not something that you can fully understand unless you’ve been through it yourself. Give your friend some leeway, but if she starts blatantly being rude to you, then stand up for yourself.

You just said the truth, nothing wrong with that. She was judging you because you said you're not ready for kids. I've noticed that some people who have kids judge those who don't have them. I'm judged too. Don't mind her.

I remember the time I was pregnant and friend asked ME how I dealt with it and I just said, "There's nothing much to worry about, it's all completely natural.".

I've seen babies put their foot in their mouth but I've only seen one or two adults that were able to do it.

I dont think it was bitchy. I think she rolled her eyes because that is elementary having a baby and you make too big thing out of it. Its like saying "Oh wow you bought a car, i could not drive a car myself"
