"I wish I had never met you"

My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for a little over a year now, and we talk on the phone, text, Skype, etc. I was planning on meeting him by the end of this year

but last night we got into an argument and he said "I wish I had never met you" It hurt me SO much and he didn't even aplogize

he's also said some harsh things in the past but he was drunk and I kinda let it go b.c all in all he's a great guy and he really tries a lot with me and he works hard to make this work

but after he said this I'm kind of hesitant to meet him, I would never say something like that to him or anyone I truly care about, so for him to say it...it kinda ruined everything for me :(

My question is am I looking too into this? Should I still meet him? Or am I right to feel this way? What would you do?

The real question is does he REALLY want to meet you? I had this problem, I met the guy who I had to fly 6 hours to go meet, and it ended up not working because he 'realized after he met me how hard it would be to be so far from each other' and then said basically the same thing. We haven't talked since. In my opinion, I would find out if he's worth the long distance strain any longer, and see if he really wants you or not!

He pretty much begged me to come see him earlier this year and he always wants to talk and all that...I think he does but some of the stuff he says is really hurtful. I'm going to ask him a final time today and see though.

that's a positive look on it, but he also said a month ago "this relatinship isn't healthy...I depend on your call everyday and you cause me stress." So I asked why he stil talks to me and he said "Because you're pretty much an addiction"

So I'm not sure what he means...I'm like mind f***ed for lack of better words

i wouldn't meet him if he said something as harsh to me. and how he didn't appologize for it shows what kind of person he is.
