Is it okay for a Man to have both male and female role models?

There are some women I genuinely look up to because they give me hope for relationships and the future. Even though there is a lot of issues going on in society between men and women there are some women trying to promote healthy relationships between the sexes.
For me some include Jennifer Moleski, Courtney Ryan, Rebecca Barret. While I don't consider Chloe Roma a role model for me personally I think some of the work she is doing is really good raising money to help men who've lost it all or are suffering mental illness.

I believe a man can have a female role model in a sense that shows him what kind of woman he needs to seek. There are certain qualities within certain women that are both healthy and are very much in line with both my views and research statistics on what works best. Other than that, I believe a man should primarily focus on male role models that show him what qualities he can implement to better himself and his life.

ya thats a good way of putting it. I didn't mean like look up to them in a sense like "I want to be this person" but more like some women are really inspiring people. I'm starting to meet women on Gag and watching some on YT that give me hope that my perceptions on females was wrong or outdated. I think women who speak up and who live their lives honestly and are happy being feminine are truly inspiring. At least for me they are.

@t-8900 Yes, as I said, the type of women to look to as an example to seek in your future partner. My experience with G@G women is actually on the negative side. G@G women only validate the things that are being said in the manosphere and have given me very great example to what types of women I should avoid. The only thing G@G women have done me well is made sure I appreciate my girlfriend more and more (who is nothing like them). Women on G@G (not all of them of course) are often a clear example to what kind of problems we have within society. Especially when it comes to romantic relationships. No wonder the marriage rates are at an all-time low

yeah it could be because I have a group of women on here I talk to and pretty much zone the rest out lol. Good and bad all over. I know our society is crumbling. But I find a lot more sissy boys on here than actual bad women. There are a few on here that are horrible for sure and some where we are just on totally different plains of existence. I've been toxic on here a lot myself, sad to say. Abortion just fucks with me too much so when it gets brought up I get really upset. Probably because my own mother abandoned me when I was a child and so the idea of betrayal of one's own child really digs deep into the core of me.

Of course. I don't know of any positive inspiring traits that are unique to one sex. As a kid, one of my biggest role models was Godzilla, who's not even the same SPECIES I am.

I sometimes don't like questions like these because it makes people fear that having a role model who doesn't look like them is considered wrong or weird. Believe me man, guys can have male and female role models while girls can also have male and female role models as well. I love Emma Watson she is a great inspiration to me, I ain't neither white or female, believe me you can have anyone regardless of sex or race as a role model. Remember it's the person who counts not the color of their skin or their genitalia.

I find Role models are a dumb concept on a whole, so I would say no.
It's alright to like someone for what they have done, But one should not ever have role models due to the fact we don't really know people.
One min a role model, next a rapist. And even if they are all we know and not bad it's still a weird thing to hold so much weight to. No need for a role model, only need for you to be you.

It's what someone symbolizes imho. The person the show being the one you base it off of. It could be a lie, sure. But if they are being true that person that inspires you can be a role model
