Why do so many men hate Tinder now?

at first I thought I was the only dude who hated that app until I started running into a few users here on this site and in many other places who have confess that they hate using that app as much as I do and words can't describe how glad it makes me to hear this. I even came across this image that one of my buddies posted on FB...

I agree with him 110% and I'm pretty sure all the guys who hate this app hate it for the same reasons above as well. hell is no wonder why so many women here and in many other sites have gotten upset whenever I said that I refuse to use that app, because truth hurts after and nobody likes to have their egos bruised up this badly.

but anyways if you are a guy do you hate this app as well? and is it for the same reasons above?

The vast majority of women on Tinder are looking for validation - definitely not a relationship.
These types of programs are for the rejects that can't connect with others in their social circle. The misfits, the unrealistic expectations.

One of the fallacies of today is the result of feminism - women are implored to embrace their sexuality - whenever and whomever they want. And they've been told over and over again as they grow up how pretty and special they are and how they DESERVE to have a 'prince charming' that is going to sweep them off their feet. It's the disney dream, with puppydogs, rainbows, and pink unicorns.

So 80% of them are chasing 10-15% of the good looking alpha guys. And they'll drop their panties for them without any commitment, just thinking they can reel them in by having sex with them. This does two things:
1. It leaves them emotionally broken and devastated because 'Chad' doesn't need to commit - he has women litteraly throwing themselves at him. So he pumps and dumps and she's left with emotional devastation and baggage.
2. She develops an unrealistic self valuation due to the fact this great looking guy had sex with her so she must be even better than she once thought. No she goes forth eliminating all those guys in her value range, now exclusively going for the guys 2-3 points or more above her actual SMV.

And if she does this for long enough - the cock carousel - until she reaches past thirty, now she is starting to lose her youth and beauty, her body is starting to sag, her sex is all used up, and now has to compete with girls much younger. All the quality guys have been snatched up and married off, so she's left with the nerds, jerks, rejects, and divorcees with kids in tow. And she can't figure out why she can't find a decent guy - she's already turned down dozens of great suitors, but 'they're not good enough' for her highness. So there she sits, exclaiming, "Where have all the good men gone?"

Tinder simply sucks big time, and so do the women on there. :)

They hate it because their not getting any responses from the women they try to talk to tinder. I've heard stories from guys on youtube where they been on dating sites such as tinder for maybe year or so and still haven't found anybody. Some to of them have even gotten blocked as soon as they send a message. They're just upset/frustrated that women don't want to talk to them. I don't blame them though, a lot of women seem to be using the site like its facebook, they put up their picture but have no real intentions of talking to or meeting someone because they don't take it seriously.. same goes for guys. It makes unfair for people who really are looking for something serious.

Never used it. But all dating (apps, social sites, IN PERSON) is all the same. There are no guarantees that you will meet anyone in any style of dating, that will be 100% what you are looking for. This goes for men and women alike. Women have it easier for choose someone usually, because they are beautiful and men are horny and not so particular on our choices when dating. Then us men get more particular while the relationship goes on and then we start picking apart the girl because of all the drama that evolves during most relationships. Women, they are more choosy at the beginning of dating, because their selections are so vast to choose from. This is why, I believe, they get so committed early on into the relationship because they have usually chosen their ideal in their minds from careful selection in the beginning. Now they are just trying to make it stable within the relationship.

The problem I see with dating is that we go into dates expecting something that really isn't going to happen most of the time. Or we have a pre-fathomed ideal of how the person we are going to "swipe right" for (this goes for dating in any fashion), is going to be, and then we are suddenly surprised that they aren't exactly how we envisioned. Oh an guys, I get a glimps of how girls advertise on Tinder, and it looks like they are looking for just a fuck or a fun time, the way they describe themselves with sexually teasy anecdotes in their descriptions. But, from the perspective of how women act in real life apart from what they describe, I believe the reason they use sexual connotations is to get our attention and to try and make themselves look more inviting and intriguing to us. Also, to differentiate themselves from the 1000s of others on there looking for the same things. Mr. Right. Girls already know we're horn dogs and are always looking for the fun girl. So they use this in their dating styles. Especially on a dating app, where you have only a snipit of time to grab someone's attention. Also, with this, they'll gain the most amount of attention, so that they have more to choose from. It's not brain surgery to understand this and it really shouldn't be a surprise how ALL of these dating tools work. Yeah they are saying sexually triggering things to get our attention and actually I'm pretty sure they aren't really lying when they do so. But you still have to actually be a gentleman and a person they want to be with to get to their sexually adventurous side.

Dating sites aren't good for men's egos. I think I'm reasonably good looking, I get nowhere on dating sites. Think of the image that you could possibly convey. Social photos. A good career. Having interesting hobbies. Being chilled and interesting, not taking life too seriously. Being impossibly handsome and attractive. No man can be everything. And I simply can't be arsed.

In some sense, you can consider it a good thing that women have high standards. Given men will sleep with anything, if women didn't our species would be even grottier than it is... From a woman's perspective, why would you bother engaging with a guy unless you really liked him?

No one is obligated to sleep with you by virtue of simply existing. The market may be cruel and unfair, but least there's an honesty to it. I think it's much easier to get women if you're active in life. Dating sites should be an adjunct to one's life, not the be all and end all. And one should be wary of becoming consumed by bitterness by overusing those sites. That kind of mentality is never good for oneself. If you find yourself going in that direction, I advise you to put it down, and engage in something that raises one's esteem.

I used tinder for a bit but stopped because it us stupid. Half because what that post says and half because of how it works. I mean you swipe all day and if you are lucky you might get a girl or two to match back. Then if you message them then you are almost certain to not get a reply back. I don't hate tender because I don't get any responses (literally none.. in the two years I have used it I have not gotten one response). I just see it as a potential supplement to dating, not my main way to actually get a girlfriend. Anyways my issues with tinder and online dating is it gives people too many options that it makes it harder to find a relationship.

Getting dates and hookups hasn't been a problem but I've usually found the ones I wanted to keep seeing didn't wanna see me and vice versa nor was I gonna settle. That comes with the territory.

You also get catfishes, which I still don't get the point of. I also find that a lot of women on there, not all, are the same. They'll have generic, vague interests and when you try to talk to them they don't do much to further the conversation and it feels forced.

The issue is girls get the impression handsome men want them as a potential girlfriend when they get matched on tinder when in reality they just want an easy fuck.
