Is it possible for a girl to ever change her mind after rejecting someone?

If circumstances change? Like if the guy she rejected lost weight, or change his hair/clothes style, that she’s start to see him in a different way?, what about as girls age realise that they’re not as desirable as they once were so they lower their standards? (Not that is except being their backup)

What about if a guy changed his attitude on life and be some more interesting/funny and confident? Is it at all possible?

No, except for maybe a very serious change in attitude or if he is very shy and inhibited and she somehow gets to know him better and likes his personality.
If its about his body or supposedly clothes - forget it. I had been slim and trained and was "getting along" with most females reasonably well but certainly not a Casanova. Then I hit a bad phase in my life, put on wheight, became somewhat less well groomed... Hardly any difference with girls / women. On days I was feeling well, encounters with new females went as well as before on average. If I was feeling low, things went worse...
I should add that I did have significant mood swings throughout most of my life, like a mild case of bipolar 2 with rapid cycling. Thus I had lots of opportunities to observe the impact of my own mood / mental state on social outcomes.
I am very certain that of all the aspects one can influence mindset is the most significant factor that determines attraction. On the other hand a vast proportion of attraction is probably just hard-wired ("pheromones", fundamental properties of personality, etc.).

I fancied my female best mate for years, known her since school... about 12 years ago or so i asked her out and she said no... any way after time things went back to normal and years went by, she had a string of bad relationships. I have rejected people I was into, so it is possible. But not everyone is as crazy as me, so stop insisting and let her be. If she changes her mind she will probably let you know.

Absolutely; but you have to let her go for now, don’t talk to her at all and focus on talking to other girls. Try to date another girl. Let her see you dating someone else. Focus on self improvement, becoming more physically attractive by looksmaxing, leanmaxing, and gym maxing. Social max and try to become an interesting and exciting person, maybe you can try becoming more popular on social media, if you can make friends with some of her friends that is great, but don’t try to start talking to her friends as a way to get to get her because that could get around if you’re not super careful. Maybe you can post you doing lots of cool stuff on Instagram, that will definitely make you look fun and exciting but also try becoming fun and exciting when you talk to people too. If you do all of those things, in a couple of years there’s probably like a 50/50 chance's she’ll change her mind, but you shouldn’t obsess over just one girl! Like and reply to my comment; if you disagree then that’s your issue. Most people are blue pilled in dating but not me. Most people can’t admit that women like men that other women want especially if they find them physically attractive.

More seriously I have seen this several times that younger women will reject weak beta males and go alpha hunting. After a few years of getting used and abused by alphas, and after putting 40 pounds on, these women will allow their beta exes to come crawling back to them.

Yes. All it took was saying "OK" and not letting rejection bother you. I find it seems to many girls see a big difference in guys who go crazy chasing them and guys that don't. I think it's better to be the latter by far.
