I applied to a supermarket as a cashier and the supervisor said he will train me next week and there's a free breakfast and lunch at work I will work at 6 am to 6pm
Sounds like a great job for somebody that has to come out of retirement because of inflation and taxes. Not only do you get a paycheck, you do not have to buy much at the supermarket. Those are long hours though especially if it is 5 says a week.

I wouldn't.
My major is computer science. I want to work in the IT field. Otherwise those 4 years of college was a waste 😅. Nothing wrong with the supermarket job, it's just that it's different from my domain and it'd much less... AND I'm lazy and horrible with people 😂
I've done 12 hour shifts and it's hell. It's a good experience and will get you working hard. I would do it for the experience and the money
Nah, but I don’t eat breakfast or lunch lol.
If you do, I think that’s nice.

No problem with that. It's hard to get a job nowadays. I'm sure if you found a better job than that, you wouldn't think twice. Try to work for a month and if you don't feel comfortable you can leave whenever you want. Go for it and leave your comfort zone.
Wish you luckI would say it depends? Like what are we talking about.. Them just giving some tea and some snack like a cheese danish or little debbies honey bun and calling that breakfast? Then No.. at least i wouldn't take the breakfast offer.
Sometimes employers say here are all the benefits but the salary is shit. So question is how much you are getting paid per hour and whether or not you do get paid for breakfast and lunch breaks.
Hell yeah that sounds great! Don't have to worry about bringing food ever and it saves you the hassle of preparing or expenses of food. You're basically making more than whatever wage they offer and stress free. Just show up and work!
no, cause that job is far beneath my qualification level. but if i did, i'd look at their pay and see how much that breakfast "costs" me in terms of loan comparison to different employers.
A 12 hour shift, with supposedly an hour for lunch, and breaks morning and afternoon.
I don't think I want to work a 12 hour shift anywhere. especially standing as a cashier
Yes, that sounds like a great deal.
Most grocery store, food cooked on the site is not very good. Where they give out samples, I don’t like it
Unless it's back-breaking work or intense work (customers stares?) Customer 👀👀👀👀🫠🫠
I wouldn't get out of bed each day for the amount of money they pay.
6am to 6pm? Long shift! Hope that's just 4 days per week.
No. I am educated. Well above working at a high school failure job,
thats very long time to work
reconsiderI wouldn't. Too much of a pay cut.
No, unless I was a teen.
Only if they paid $20 an hour.
wtf? That's a 12-hour day.
i would
