Why are men so confusing?

Question

I had a male friend and we kicked off well until he found out that i liked him and he started to be hot and cold, and i did not understand why he was doing that. So we talked and worked things out and we became friends again, and everything was normal until he started giving me weird looks when ever i would hug my other male friends and he would include himself in conversation i had with my male classmates but i never understood why did all of that and why he would stare at me or side eye me most of the time when im seen with male friends of mine. It got a bit worse when i ended things because of his toxic ways
He was staring at me a lot, whispering my name in class and saying nasty things about me but i would never catch him doing that with other girls but would he do it with me when he was the one who said he did not like me like that, why would he get mad when im hanging out with my male bestfriend Aidan in front of him or even hugging my male bestie
Im confused i dont know what to do.

Maybe we are confusing. There are a lot of times when we have to be something we aren't. We obviously have to man up and that means not admitting we are scared when we actually are. We have to be emotionally stable when everything around us is falling apart. Maybe that's why we can't admit we are lost and ask for directions. We are used to faking it.

We are not, we are territorial and if he wants you, he doesn't want you to hug or let any other rivals near you. So you are causing the issue. Not him he just follow biology. This is why most men reject women with many male friends. They can't be trusted.

Maybe they’re not confusing, maybe women are too easily getting confused. I think men can be easily solved and understood. Even the science says that a woman is more complicated than a man so maybe women make it difficult. Don’t misunderstand me, I’m not saying that men are always reasonable. But they’re man, you know, don’t think much about it.

Sounds like a loser not a man. Guys aren't complicated of they have good character. Show them attention and care and if theyre interested they will reciprocate. If he's not old enough to handle a normal adult relationship he's a red flag anyways
