Is it harder to be a boy or girl in today’s society?
Definitely a male. Unless you live in Saudi Arabia or some third-world sh*thole in the middle of nowhere like it.
As for the biggest male con: Having to do more work in society, and being treated as disposable by everyone for it, without so much as a "thank you" for it. Seriously; try being a man who can just sit on their ass contributing nothing to society while waiting for a rich person to marry you like women have the option to, and see how much respect you get, assuming this is even possible.
Another male con: Loneliness if you're anything but a Chad or extremely cocky. Women literally never have to worry about being single or not finding a partner. Men nowadays are lonelier than ever, while also demonized and sh*t on by ungrateful women, more than ever.
I was literally just thinking this morning how the worst women in society are also the ones who rely on men the most. While the most caring and decent women tend to be the hardest working and most independent, who don't really need a man's help because they already know how to do "men's work." It's funny how that works out.
But yeah, between the male feminists, simps, and soyboys, today's men are weak. And I certainly didn't have any help from a strong male role model myself, either. But I at least have self-respect; something so many men lack nowadays, along with role models.
It is factually significantly harder to be a boy/man in the USA than it is to be a girl/woman. Society openly discriminates against men when it comes to expectations, public service/aide, school discipline, college entry, job hiring and promotion, criminal sentencing, rights to one's own children, etc. Women have more rights than men and have for many years and they have less responsibilities and are not held as accountable for their actions.
Those are not opinions, they are not disputable, they are all proven facts.

All the pros you listed for women are literally things that women have being cause they are being valued for their sex appeal. That is the same thing as being taken advantage of sexually which you listed as a con... And then to list pregnancy/periods as a con? That is more of a pro in my opinion that women get to bring life into the world but whatever this question is just stupid since there is no need to compete over who has it worse. I'm just here to say that your view on females is fucked if you really think that stuff about us.
If you take two people a 16 yr old girl and 16 yr old boy leaving school, they will both face adversity, sometimes for the same reason sometimes different reasons.
Both have it hard, any parent out there knows this, it’s down to character and support from parents that can give them an advantage.

I don't think it's harder for men to make money. The career options may be different, but "having a job" is certainly not less accessible to men.
Although if I may add to your women's list, because it seems mostly sex-oriented. Pros: trusted more easily, offered help more often, given more leniency in general. Cons: not taken as seriously in general, weaker, more pressured to "settle" for marriage.

No. Women choose easy jobs that allow for more free time and flexibility and then leave the workforce after having children. You can't complain you get paid less when you literally work less and choose lower paying, easier jobs.

As far as diversity and whatnot, I'm pretty sure there are still more men than women in the general workforce as of now. How are jobs less accessible to men than women, when men currently *have* more of the jobs than women do?
You could say a particular man may have a harder time than a particular woman, but in general? I don't see how I could be wrong about this, just statistically speaking.
It's not a "wage gap" because women don't get paid less than men for identical jobs and haven't since the 1960s. It's an earnings gap the same way a high schooler working at a grocery store earns less than a neurosurgeon. If women got paid less than men for the same work, then 80-90% of the workforce would only be women. (There was a time this was the case following World War II, which is what led to the Equal Pay Act of 1964 to begin with because it hurt both genders; keeping men from working and underpaying women. It's not 1963 anymore though.) So no, it doesn't exist. Women earn less than men based on their own choices in jobs.
And no, there are not more women than men in the workforce right now the same way there are not more men than women attending university right now. Those are all misleading. Men and women either work in equal numbers, usually in red/conservative areas or women outnumber men in the workforce, usually in blue/liberal big city areas. Individual men just earn the most money and work the longest hours, which is the only thing certain feminists care about. The results, not the actual reasons for those results.
@MCheetah if you're talking about the USA? Yeah, the workforce is majority male. University is a different thing, but that may be a con for men, having it harder to get into university. I'm just saying that less accessible jobs isn't a con to being a man. And right now? It shouldn't be a con for anyone, because a LOT of places are still desperate to hire.
Definitely harder to be a boy as of now. Only when you hit middle age does it become more advantageous to be male, or perhaps at middle age it becomes much harder or less advantageous to be a female at this point.
Your opinion seems biased because you are a male yourself. What you listed as pros for women are actually not pros at all. Onlyfans and stripping do Not define women as a whole. Men are also strippers and also do onlyfans. Anyways. Personally? I can’t point out which one has it harder because I haven’t been a man to determine what it feels like on the other side as you haven’t been a woman either
